Water enthusiasts of ALL LEVELS will enjoyably learn the aquatic skills necessary for riding waves
while being immersed in lifeguard water safety, surf etiquette, and beach and ocean awareness.  
Local male and female surfers/instructors will demonstrate and in-water assist in all three styles
of wave riding:
BODY SURFING, BODY BOARDING and BOARD SURFING

             







*** Mon/Tues/Thurs & Fri   9am-3pm  at Moonstone Beach
(4 Full days-9am to 3pm-no camp on Wednesday-a day of rest & rejuvenation for the kids)

$195 (pay in full, early bird registration)---$205 (when pay $25 deposit & balance at the beach)  
(Discount when student enrolls w/a sibling or a second week///carpooling can be arranged)        

FRINGE BENEFITS OF THIS not-for-profit SURF SCHOOL: % of the cost will be donated in your
name to the Surfrider Foundation or any non-profit environmental organization of your choice

HOW:  all equipment provided except wetsuits which are available to buy online or (new or used) at the
Neighborhood Surfshop in Arcata, Pacific Outfitters in Eureka & Saltys Surf and Tackle in Trinidad (surf camp
participants receive a discount).  Wetsuits are also available for rent @ Neighborhood SurfShop & The Shop
(next to Co-Op in Arcata, Pacific Outfitters in Eureka or Salty's in Trinidad. (If you rent a wetsuit and want to
buy after surfcamp, the shop will usually deduct your rental cost from the sale price.)

winter season & to prepare for the upcoming 2009 surf contest (see

Jetty. A fun day for surfers of all ages and abilities.
Noll Longboard Surf Contest-October 1 & 2 in Crescent
City. Another fun weekend and we will be camping in
Crescent City for the weekend.
